Greece Yoga & Wellness is organized is collaboration with the Study Abroad Association (SAA).

Itinerary
(Travel Day) DAY 1 - DEPARTURE - Sunday, June 30
Depart Home for Athens, Greece
DAY 2 - ATHENS/AEGINA - Monday, July 1
Arrive in Athens, Greece
Transfer to Aegina, High Speed Boat(approx 40 min)
Welcome Dinner (included) - The group will bet aken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

A Guided Walking Tour of Aegina Town
Including a Pistachio Tasting - Aegina was for a short period of time the first capital of Greece after the outbreak of the War of Independence against the Ottoman rule. Its history starts from the Neolithic period, as the island has been inhabited since 3,000 BC. During the walking tour we will also taste some local delicacies based on the island’s flagship product: the pistachio.

DAY 4 - AEGINA - Sunday, July 3

Guided Visit of the Temple of Aphaia -
People have visited Aphaia since at least the 14th Century BCE. Female figurines have been found, showing that locals worshiped a goddess of fertility, childbirth and agriculture. It is also part of Greece’s ‘sacred triangles’: along with the Parthenon in Athens, it makes neat isosceles triangles with the temple of Poseidon to the south-east and Delphi Apollo to the northwest.

Guided Walking Tour of Athens including several of the city’s highlights such as the National Gardens - Art museum located on Vasilissis Sofias, the Temple of Zeus, Plaka, the Ancient Agora and the Roman Agora and more.

DAY 8 - ATHENS - Thursday, July 7

Full Day Program that includes a Visit and Water Yoga Swim at Lake Vouliagmeni - The water temperature is between 22 to 29 degrees Celsius /84.2 Fahrenheit throughout the year. The water is constantly being renewed both by the thermal springs.
Visit an Organic Farm - learn about their regenerative agriculture techniques and enjoy a farm-to-fork meal as well as either a
honey tasting or an olive oil tasting

Visit the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion - This magnificent Doric temple stands on a vertical precipice, enjoying a breathtaking 180
degrees view of the open sea. The ancient Greeks always chose to build their temples and oracles at places with palpable energy and Cape Sounion is
definitely one of them.

Payment Schedule
(i) $500 per deposit (non-refundable) person to register and reserve spot due by January 26, 2024
(ii) second payment in the amount of 50% of the remaining amount is due and payable by March 1 2024.
(iii) final payment in the amount of the remaining amount is due and payable by April 1, 2024.
Final balance is due on April 1, 2024

Retreat deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE (may be transferable to another attendee who will replace traveler)
Final Balance is due on April 1, 2024
- 90 Days (4/1/24) prior to the Retreat departure date a refund in the amount of 50% will be issued if you need to cancel the trip
- No refunds will be issued 60 days (5/1/24) prior to retreat departure date
